St. Petersburg was probably one of the most fascinating places that I have visited thus far. I was there during White Nights, so the city was quite lively and the long hours of daylight provided me with some very beautiful shots of the sky and the wonderful colors. I was also there during an unexpected heat wave! Needless to say, St. Petersburg is a very ornate and beautifully designed city. Dubbed the “Venice of the North,” I thoroughly enjoyed my time here rambling through the canal laden streets and taking in the charming architecture juxtaposed by lingering Soviet-era culture.
